Our brewing, fermenting, and bottling rooms are in full operation. Call the store to make your appointment to brew your first batch under our instruction or if you are a veteran brewer you can book our facilities to try your own recipe.

Hondo's First Annual Brew Cup was a success. We had 25 entrants with over-all  winner Allen Johnson from Deer Island Oregon. Allen submitted in three categories taking home awards for all three and unanimous pick for Best of Show. Our next competition starts in January 2012.

We are offering a limited menu of micro wave dishes such as Hamburger Sliders, Philly Steak Subs & Chicken Bakes, choice of bag chips. You can also order pizza or other sandwich items from Sahara , Genos, or Custard King, delievered to Hondo's as you are enjoying one our twelve Pub Brews from our draft bar or bottled brews from our coolers.

 Come in to our store to join Hondo's Home Brewers Club.  Club meetings will be held the third week of each month,dates and alerts will be sent to members via email and posted on Hondo's facebook page. Our newly remodeled Brew Pub, has ample seating for home brewers and beer lovers to visit, enjoy brews from our twelve handle selection of Brew Pub beers on draft in either tasting portions or full pints. Each week our menu of ale, wines, and ciders will vary to include seasonal recipes and special brews from Brew Pubs in the Northwest and various select micro brewery's through out North America . We also offer bottled micro brews or imports from our coolers, and a wide selection of Oregon and Washington wines that may be enjoyed by the glass.

Spring of 2012 we are offering classes through Clatsop Community College. Extentsion courses will instruct students on methods of brewing beer, winemaking, and home cheese-making.

Currently by appointment only,(for beginners with no prior experience), we offer a 12 hour class covering brewing, fermenting, and bottling beer. The course will cover the process of extract and partial mash brewing methods. It will take place over a four week time span. Students will learn by hands on experience. Call our shop for more information.

Our goal is to provide home brewers equipment and kitchen space to learn how easy and fun it is to create your own micro brew recipe. Hondo's staff, and experienced home-brewers from the Astoria area, will be available to teach those who are interested, how to brew beer and make wine at home.
